BEEPLATE hollow core ceiling

The system

The BEEPLATE hollow core ceiling is an efficient solution for wide-span reinforced concrete flat ceilings with any bearing. Spans of up to 16.50 m can be achieved with ceiling thicknesses between 32 cm and 60 cm. The use of buoyancy-free plastic displacement bodies means that floating is not possible during concreting.

The stackable hollow bodies are installed with the aid of red and black spacer brackets as spacers between the upper and lower reinforcement layers. The honeycomb arrangement of the hollow bodies guarantees a maximum reduction in concrete and therefore weight of up to 35%.

Normal concrete of strength classes C25 / 30 to C45 / 55 can be used for the BEEPLATE ceiling. In order to keep the solid areas of the ceiling small, at least C35 / 40 concrete is recommended.

The BEEPLATE hollow-core ceiling is interesting for the client because it enables large spans. The architect can plan unhindered. The engineer receives a component solution that fulfills the client and architect's wishes. The building contractor prefers the component solution that is easy to assemble and is also extremely economical.
